Blackberry : Insecure

And we continue to offer the best mobile typing experience – no ifs, ands or buts about it.

There are already around six million customers pre-registered to be notified of our roll out. beli HP apa ya?

Kemarin waktu si BB ini rusak, hidup gue terasa hampa. Ga bisa ngetwit. Bisanya cuma ngomel ngomelin orang offline.

Sempet kepikiran untuk beli HP baru. Udah jalan-jalan ke counter HP nyari HP 3-4 jutaan. Ada Lumia, iPhone 4, Andromax V. Menarik sih. Tapi kurang greget.

Smartphone market menurut gue sekarang kurang greget. Inovasinya stagnan.

Coba liat portofolionya Apple sekarang. Sejak launching iPhone 4, ga ada inovasi yang berarti ke iPhone 4S, iPhone 5. Bahkan yang mau launch sekarang, iPhone 5S dan iPhone 5C speknya tidak jauh berbeda. Yang beda cuma harganya aja.

Trus coba liat samsung.
New product nya Samsung itu Grand sama Mega. Cuma menang di lebar layar dan penampilan aja.

Era handphone sekarang sudah hampir seperti era kejatuhan nokia dulu. Inovasinya berkisar di kamera, layar dan memori. Sampai akhirnya muncul blackberry yang menjawab kebutuhan utama konsumen yaitu “mobile”.

Jadi inget kuliah singkat bos mengenai inovasi. Inovasi yang baik adalah sesuatu yang baru dan relevan bagi konsumennya. Inovasi smartphone sekarang tidak menjawab kebutuhan dasar konsumen. Ini yg membuat produk baru smartphone kurang laku sekarang.

So, musti gimana? just watch. Wait to the next big thing.

Apakah jam smart yg dikerjain samsung sekarang relevan dengan kebutuhan konsumen? We’ll see.
